Cross braced for strength and has twice the mounting holes (to be drilled in boat).

Bolts straight onto factory strut.

Some hulls may not be perfectly aligned where the top and bottom halves meet. This can result in an uneven surface, meaning the 90° reinforcement bracket may not sit completely flat.

If the misalignment is minor, the surface can usually be sanded flat to allow proper fitment. However, if the difference is more significant (a few millimetres), the bracket may need to be trimmed, and installation completed using only three mounting bolts.
