Preformed Saw-Cut Inductance Loops

Used for installation in asphalt or concrete 3/16” saw-cut groove. The most common saw-cut installations involve cutting a 3/16” or wider slot into the concrete or asphalt, stuffing the loop wire into the saw-cut slot with the black side up, and sealing it with loop sealant. Our Saw-Cut Loops have an extra layer of protection: a durable outer jacket that shields and tightly binds the inner conductors.

Our BD Loops Preformed Saw-Cut Loops are built with solid 16AWG copper wire to create a tough, rigid product. Backer-rod is built into the wire! No need to use backer-rod if the loop is installed in a 3/16” saw-cut groove. Cuts don’t need to be exact! Preformed Saw-Cut Loops can be made up to 4’ smaller. Be slightly conservative with your cuts, and BD Loops Preformed Saw-Cut Loops will fit every time.
